Help Customers. Solve Problems. Build Relationships.

Rachel Williams State Farm is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This is a service-dominant position for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and creating an exceptional customer experience. You’ll work directly with existing customers to answer questions, assist with policy needs, and ensure they feel supported throughout their relationship with our agency.

While customer service is the primary focus, this is not a service-only role. We’re looking for someone who can listen for customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and naturally transition service conversations into appropriate in-book sales opportunities.

Insurance experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to develop the right person and provide support throughout the licensing process.

Licensing Requirements

Insurance licensing is required for this position.

  • Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.

  • Life & Health license must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe once onboarding begins.

  • Already licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Licensing guidance, study direction, and support are provided.

What You'll Do

  • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional customer service.

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer questions and requests.

  • Assist with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and account updates.

  • Support customers with claims-related questions and follow-up.

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions.

  • Conduct proactive follow-up and customer outreach.

  • Help customers understand available coverage and insurance options.

  • Identify coverage gaps and additional customer needs.

  • Pivot service conversations into appropriate cross-selling and inside sales opportunities.

  • Recommend additional Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other products when appropriate.

  • Contribute to agency service, retention, and growth goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

  • Friendly, patient, and professional when working with customers.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

  • Comfortable managing multiple customer needs and priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable recommending additional products when a customer need is identified.

  • Coachable with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Previous customer service, insurance, banking, retail, hospitality, or account management experience preferred.

  • Willing and able to complete required insurance licensing.

Why Join Rachel Williams State Farm?

  • Competitive base compensation plus performance incentives.

  • Licensing guidance and support.

  • Ongoing training and professional development.

  • Customer-focused role with in-book sales opportunities.

  • Opportunity to build insurance knowledge and valuable professional skills.

  • Long-term career and growth potential.

If you're someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and building relationships while growing your insurance career, we'd like to meet you.
